I love K&K Gardens. Whenever I talk to people and explain I’m from Hawkeye, I always make sure to throw in how cool K&K is. Prices are pretty comparable to other local greenhouses - very affordable. The plants are healthy, and the variety is amazing.My favorite part about the place is how it looks like you are touring a community garden. They’ve planted a bunch of their own flowers, shrubs, and trees. They have a walking path, a pond with koi, a bridge, and an overlook. There’s a seating area and lots of decor in the small buildings they have. Sometimes I don’t buy anything and just walk through there. They allow leashed dogs, so my dog and I will walk through and enjoy the experience. Keith and the other staff are nice and helpful. When they close down for the season I’m definitely sad.I just purchased a nice peach tree from there and they were able to answer all my questions. They have good deals, especially if you’re part of the text club!We are so grateful to have such a wonderful place in our backyard.

K&K is one of my favorite garden centers to visit. It is park-like in some areas and organized retail in others. The expansive gardens are kept incredibly weed free and beautiful. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Keith knows what he is doing and does it all so effortlessly from the customer perspective. I sure hope he takes time to rest.Thank you for all you do so we can buy the healthiest plants. Hostas are my addiction and K&K has what I "need" every visit.

K&K garden center has the best selection of annual & perennial flowers, bushes, trees, and garden accessories! I had bought hibiscus one year and the following year some of them did not come back and Keith replaced them with no charge! He stands behind his product! His employees are very helpful as well! We are so fortunate to have a beautiful piece of heaven in rural Iowa!

I absolutely LOVE K&K! It's a beautiful garden center that I could literally just hang out in all day. The staff are always extremely helpful and kind. They are willing to answer any and all questions. I always come away with a new plant and a desire to come back for more. :) The only change I'd make is to have it be closer to me! ;) Go for a visit and have a great day!

I love the hostas and lilies I have received! They have been healthy plants and beautiful after I've planted them. I also needed a tree for a particular area and the owner was extremely knowledgeable about what would grow in that area and still meet my requested design. The tree as well as the two bushes were perfect. I also appreciated that he wouldn't sell me what I thought I wanted after hearing my situation, even though that would have been a bigger sell for him. He was more interested in my getting something that would grow successfully in that area of my yard. Thank you Keith!
