The initial appeal of Precision Landscape Services, LLC lies in its promise to be a full-spectrum, year-round general contractor for outdoor needs in Wisconsin. The theoretical benefit is the convenience and synergy of having one company manage everything from comprehensive Beautiful Landscapes design and Retaining Wall Construction to routine Lawn Care Service and Snow Removal & Plowing. This holistic approach can be incredibly attractive to commercial properties and busy homeowners who prefer to deal with a single vendor for multiple, complex services. Their focus on hardscape, in particular, speaks to an ability to tackle significant property improvements that add lasting value and address structural issues like poor drainage.
However, when considering any contractor, especially one promising such extensive services, local residents are advised to perform thorough due diligence. While the service list is broad and impressive, reviews from real customers provide necessary context. Reports of projects not completed to contract specifications—such as a garden conversion to grass patch not properly executed, weeds growing rampant due to lack of prevention, and critical communication issues with the foreman—suggest potential inconsistencies in project execution and customer service follow-up. Furthermore, accounts from community managers detailing missed mowing appointments and extreme delays that resulted in excessively long grass indicate a challenge in maintaining the consistent, high-quality service expected in a maintenance contract.
For any prospective client, it is crucial to balance the allure of comprehensive services with the documented experiences of previous customers. Before signing a contract, especially for major construction or long-term maintenance, ensure the scope of work is detailed in writing, establish clear communication protocols with the project manager and ownership, and verify that the contract addresses the 'Right to Cure' laws specific to Wisconsin—which govern a contractor's opportunity to fix alleged defects. The vast potential of their Comprehensive Services makes them a company to consider, but only with a firm, mutually understood written agreement and a clear plan for quality assurance and communication should things go awry.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1They haven’t taken care of the terrible job they did on our gardens. We needed them to turn a weed garden into a grass patch. The pictures show before (with stones that they stole from us) and after pictures in order from May (when the work was done) until today. They were supposed to do weed removal and prevention and none of that has been done. They have also stopped by to treat a few other areas and they look worse then they did before. They did very little that was drawn up in the contract. The foreman never returns calls or text messages. The owners have yet to call to see what needs to be done to fix the situation. We had this work done so we could sell the house this fall. We cannot list it until this is fixed. We’ve spent a ton of money on this company and most likely we’ll have to contract a different company to come by and fix the incompetent mistakes being made. I highly suggest never using this company!
August 21 · Luke LundquistDo not utilize this company. They were contacted to provide all landscaping services to our community, and week after week it’s one issue after another. They frequently don’t show to mow, and if it rained on their day to mow, they made no effort to make it up that week. At one point this summer they hadn’t mowed the property in over three weeks, which resulted in grass that was up to fifteen inches long. Some weeks they don’t edge and other weeks they completely miss mowing parts of the property. Weeds have grown rampant due to them not pulling them as they agreed to do for the entire property. It’s clear they don’t cars about retaining customers, as they wouldn’t provide such a low level of service if they did.
August 17 · Sarah W.I used this company before and had the same issues with management, not showing up and workers were not polite. I thought they might have improved to rehire but from these reviews I am looking somewhere else. Seem like they are the same old business.
October 10 · Mary DI’m genuinely baffled by the approach of this service. Who in their right mind thinks using a leaf blower on six inches of hard snow at 4 AM is an effective or reasonable method? Not only is it completely ineffective, but the sheer noise for two-plus hours straight is beyond disruptive. There seems to be a complete lack of awareness or consideration for the people trying to sleep. A snow removal service should be efficient and minimally intrusive, yet this one prioritizes noise over effectiveness. If you value your sleep and sanity, I’d highly recommend looking elsewhere.
February 13 · Teagan GilbertsonMy experience with this company was subpar, mainly due to lack of communication. On the initial visit, my foreman asked what my budget was and then proceeded to give me an estimate about a week later that was 3x what I had initially hoped to pay. I got feedback from family after and decided to go with the original plan because the price for everything done was quite fair. My foreman was also flexible in swapping out a few plants that were toxic to dogs. I was told after I signed the agreement that it would be about a month to start (no problem, everything is taking a long time right now) and I'd be informed of the schedule. It then took me calling 3 times to put a deposit down. I followed up 3 weeks later and was told it was requested to start the following week but I would know two days later if it was approved to start. I, again, had to follow up two days after that to verify. The day before the job was set to start, I was informed the foreman would be there at 7:45 to start marking things out and the crew would arrive by 8:30. By 9 there was still no one at my house and after I emailed the foreman, I received a reply at 9:30 that we were delayed due crew members calling in sick. Obviously you cannot control that, but why was I the one who had to follow up over an hour after it was set to begin? We had a new date set (a Monday) so I had been planning working from home for the time being in case anything happened during the project. Another project got delayed due to weather. Project finally began that Wednesday. No one came to the front door to even say that they were there they just began working. The foreman claimed to have marked out the plan the day that it began but designed it with 4 plants in front of a gate that I had repaired, completely blocking it off. Thankfully, I was home to notice and he had the crew remove them but now I have 4 of them on one side of the gate and 1 on the other. Not a big deal but incredibly obvious that there was a late change. I am satisfied with the way my yard looks now as it was barren previously, but the lack of communication was incredibly frustrating.
