★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I Worked with the Mulders team today. I couldn’t be happier with the service and the product. They delivered and poured my drive so well I barely had to make any adjustments.
April 24 · Robert GaziI needed a lot of stone for a DIY project I was doing and came with dimensions. They helped me figure out what I needed and how much I needed and even delivered next day at two separate times due to getting two different types of stone. Highly recommend!
August 09 · Alexandria BaileyNot a great customer service experience. I called to ask about getting more gravel added to an existing gravel driveway. I said I didn't know about the different kinds of aggregate options and asked what they suggested. They told me to use 22A stabilized gravel which is 70% sand/dirt and 30% rock. Ok I thought, they're the experts. Turns out on their website they recommend a different blend, 21AA(70% rock and 30% sand)for my situation, not 22A. 22A was mostly sand/dirt and it mostly washed away within 24 hours as it was delivered and spread in the rain. They called before and asked if I minded a delivery in the rain. I told them I didn't mind because they were doing the work. When I went into the store today, the guy seemingly in charge actually laughed at me and said something to the effect of "yeah, that's why we don't usually do it in the rain". That would have been helpful to know during the call about delivering in the rain. Same guy was also frustrated that I measured my driveway in yards, not feet and had no idea how to convert them. The other(younger and actually polite) employee knew enough to get his phone to instantly calculate it for him. Older guy correctly said I didn't tell them how deep but that's because when I initially called to get a quote, I said I didn't know anything about driveway gravel but I have a 196.5yd long driveway that's 10ft wide so however much is supposed to go on would be fine. In store today he said there's no way to scientifically calculate how much is needes but I'm pretty sure there's a formula available to calculate cubic square footage. That guy was not the best person to have deal with customers. I walked out feeling pretty taken advantage of by this company. I gave them over $800 yesterday for something they laughed about washing away less than 24 hours later. Please don't shop here unless you're an industry expert and know exactly what is needed otherwise you may be in for some disappointment.
May 21 · Brian KimmellIncredible amount of nursery stock, good prices and knowledgeable staff. We purchased a Rising Sun Redbud tree with the guidance and assistance of Stephen. GREAT experience!
June 04 · JohnWe live close to Mulder's so we looked there for the tree we wanted. We first spoke with Keegan from the Martin store. He was super nice helped us with the details of buying a tree. When we had made a decision we went back and were helped by two guys in the greenhouse area. They were also great. They rang us up and assured us they would take good care of the tree until our scheduled planting date. I kept in touch with Aiden because we had a bee issue and every time I stopped by or called he was very kind, attentive and helpful. Even though I could see he was busy he took time for me.We were so excited to get our beautiful River Birch planted. 4 guys came. Again super nice. They were very efficient and undaunted by the huge tree trunk they found about 6 inches down. Plan B went into effect and we picked a new spot. Still undaunted by a few larger roots. They got "George" planted. And he looks wonderful, don't you think. On a personal note, being a rock hound I saw a rock at the bottom of the hole. Pointed it out to the" leader of the pack (sorry I'm terrible with names) and all he said was do you want it? He jumped in and dug it out and handed it to me. Now that's service and really means so much. We're already planning some shrubs for spring and know the best place to go is Mulder's Landscaping. They are all great and you'll be so happy with the job they do and the warm friendly service.
